[Insert address here. It's one of the lower-end neighborhoods in Bavan - unlike a lot of monsters in Ryslig, Rin and Emi got their apartment through legitimate means. ie by paying rent instead of threatening to eat the landlord.
Unfortunately, since the two of them are a freelance artist and a waitress, respectively, they can't exactly afford the nicest place. There are only four rooms in the apartment - a kitchen area, a small bedroom with a single double bed, a small living area with an easel and a fold-out chair and literally no other furniture whatsoever, and a bathroom in which Jake's bed-tub is sitting.
It's... pretty shabby, and the living area has more than a few stacks of Rin's surrealist paintings. A perfect place to keep a child.]
