How would Nat feel if other Avengers showed up?

At this point, it depends on which Avenger it was. She remembers Bruce and Tony now, though the Tony memory is short and from Iron Man 2. She does not really have any sense of the Avengers as a group, so there wouldn't be much of that. Bruce, she'd be wary off considering the memory she has and probably keep a low profile with insofar as she can, while keeping an eye on him. Tony, she'd probably be annoyed by. It's that kind of memory.

If Clint showed up, she'd be pretty interested in him. She knows she has some emotional investment in him from her memories, but she doesn't remember him specifically. She'd be curious.

Cap and Thor, she's got nothing. If she knew of her relationship with them, she'd try to be professional and she'd be interested again though less and in a different way. :x

Is there an Avenger you'd like to show up? XD

I THINK that Bruce would be cool, especially with Cass. Tony would be entertaining, though.

Nat's opinion of Cass?

GENERALLY POSITIVE. Cass has been helpful, and competent, and she strikes a good balance of being supportive/friendly but also professional. She clearly knows what she's doing when it comes to fighting, which is also a big mark in her favor. Not precisely because Nat values combat skills so highly, but because it's a skill she knows she has and that she has at least some knowledge of/insight into. Cass is clearly proficient at something that they both do.

It's a good first impression!

How's Eureka settling in?

Eureka is doing great! She has a few glitches from her inability to communicate effectively, but she is absolutely imprinted on Amethyst and will love them a whole lot as she levels up in her humanity. I keep tinkering about throwing another curve or two into the mix, but letting her settle with the concepts she has and not rushing her development also suits me well.

So, how about Naha as legacy? Reasons for and against?

At the moment, I'm leaning toward Legacying Naha when her current memories run out. I've given it some thought, and I think she's hit the point where new memories don't have a lot of impact, and there's not much else I can add as headcanon that will be particularly interesting. She's never been super invested in games, so since I love her and I'm not ready to leave Ruby yet, Legacy seems like the best option.

There are some downsides. It's harder to stay invested as a Legacy. Also, I only want one Legacy Hero at a time, which means as long as she's Legacy in Aather, Neji will stay on the shelf. :< I'm not desperate to play him right now, but I've played him a long time and do like him a lot. ...I guess there's always Court?

Future app plans?

I am toying around with a few ideas, but I don't want to put blood in the water, so to speak! Still, I have Serah that will be going legacy soon, so I will be down to one active character . . . But that sort of groove seems to work well for me. Indecision, indecision! I still long to good end Marie, too.

Not really. Nothing in Aather, at least. Everything I'd do is a long way off. XD

Naha on Ruby? Goodness, I have missed this team.

Naha really loves her team. So much more than I would have believed possible. And even with changes, she still really does. Being on Ruby at this point pretty much means from the get-go that Naha is willing to love you.

It's interesting, because it is and isn't familial? Naha is the mom. Not is always the Mom. At this point, everyone else is legit Rubykids. So it's like a single fail!mom with a bevy of chaos babies. '-'

Natasha is positive on Comet! She's in this sweet spot of being both young and Nat seeing her as a child, but also being competent and potentially powerful in her own right? Nat doesn't remember it, but she knows that she was herself already a spy for a while by Comet's age, so there's not really a sense of discomfort with that, and Nat's not inclined to underestimate her based on her age? At the same time she does feel like Comet is a kid.

idk if that makes sense, but it's cool and I like it.

As for how she's settling in, IC she's sucking it up and engaging, and going with the flow. OOC, it's perfect. She's pretty much all I wanted her to be.

Breeze thinks Natasha is super cool and wants to hang out with her all the time kyaaa. She appreciates that Natasha won't underestimate her based on her age, because that's a big issue for her. Natasha coming over to Carnelian to visit that one time did a lot to boost Breeze's dere for her because honestly up to that point she figured Natasha was just saying she'd stop by for the sake of being polite. Mostly she just thinks Natasha is really cool and it seems like they have some things in common, so she wants to talk shop with her (in this case shop = assassinating things i guess) and wants to make sure doing okay and not confused by too much, because she knows that it sucks to be in a new place and have no idea what anything is.

HMM what are some things you like about playing a knight vs a hero and vice versa?

I really like how much control playing a knight gives you. You choose your associations. You decide when you want to try to get memories/skills and when you don't even need to try because you've won the last three games. It's very pick your own level of involvement, for me, and with the right character that can be pretty cool!

On the other hand, it can also be more work, and you miss out on the fun that comes with team dynamics. I think I do really like having one of each. :x

Tell me about Breeze and Oree?

Oree was the first knight Breeze really talked to, and since she and Shiny have their... thing... she comes by Carnelian a lot. They talk a looot and Oree being around when Breeze has taken some bad memories means she's become somewhat of a surrogate older-sister-slash-mom type to Breeze. On the one hand, it's really nice, because Breeze's parents aren't exactly... involved in her life. On the other hand, Breeze strives to be seen as capable and in control. Sooo Breeze loves her a lot but she's also been trying to tell Oree that she doesn't have to mom her so much :( Only last night when they were drunk Oree basically told her that she enjoys taking care of Breeze because it has nothing to do with Shiny and/or Naha, sob. and Breeze was like "... '-' okay then you can continue to mom if it makes you feel better..." SO THAT'S THAT RELATIONSHIP RIGHT NOW.

Do you have any future plans for any of yours or are you just winging it?

Mostly, I'm winging it! I do plan occasionally, but on the whole, I usually decide things on the fly so it's organic. I dooooo kind of hope Nat moves to Onyx eventually (...maybe that's why I forgot to make her name sterling color, uh), but we'll see how that goes.

Future app plans?

Nooot right now! I think especially in team games, I'd find it hard to split activity evenly between multiple characters, so I'm not planning on apping anyone new until Breeze is more settled, at least. Unless I find someone I absolutely must play in Aather, then I make no promises.

UHM what is the state of the naha?

Naha is... hmmm. She's good in some respects and less good in others. She's doing somewhat better than she was for a while there. At least, she's struggling less with low energy and apathy, so that's good.

On the other hand she's still kind of fussed, and she's upset about Cat leaving. (Glad to have Vera back, But Cat.)

Oddly, I think having Kanda around has been good for her. Something about him distracts her focus from herself. She wants to help him and win him over, and it's good for her to have an external target for her energy.

She's also feeling very Rubydere in general.

I'm all over the place. XD

THOUGHTS ON RUBY?

Natasha's impressions of Itachi? And/or relationship update for him and Naha.

Natasha's impression of Itachi is overall good! He's reserved, but that's okay. He seems competent, which she respects, but he's also got some surprises. She's starting to suspect he's secretly a little squishy.

Naha and Itachi is about the same, I thiiiink. Naha really values their friendship and finds him a soothing, positive influence on her. Sometimes she wants to climb on top of him out of affection. That's how Naha rolls. '^'

Neji's leaving thoughts? :o

Neji's not entirely happy to leave, but he also knows he needed it. He was feeling way too unproductive in Camelot. He needs a project to focus on. So while he worries about leaving his CR behind, he's cautiously optimistic about this being good for him.

How's Ace doing?

He misses Neji. 8( Neji was a solid presence of sensibleness and he feels alone without it...

Plus without the candles he's aware that he may not get a chance to see Neji again, depending on how his boon from Beauty goes and when Zero is ready to leave and alumni events so he's kinda...sad...

And really pissed at Beauty for the lack of candles.

What would Neji think of Iolite giving their favor to Ace?

HE WOULD APPROVE but be sad he missed it. (He will miss Ace. And Ace and Iolite are like. The people he feels like he should be there for. But surely! SURELY they can take care of themselves without them.)

But he wouldn't be able to think of another knight he'd want them to adopt. >.> ACE IS IOLITE KNIGHT.

How is Ace doing as a Legacy knight?

The same as Neji, a bit... He didn't like games and he certainly didn't attend any towards the end but not having to bother with listening for a call or whatever is both freeing and boring, because games make up so much of what happens in Aather. He's happy to have his memories back but there's just not a whole lot for him to do. And, ultimately, becoming a Legacy Knight didn't change his circumstances all that much. It's not like he's had his own room since Wonderland, and then Zero tricked out their room with a nice bed and personal bathtub already, and he doesn't really care for the perk of a larger room anyway.

He really just wants to get his boon and get out of Aather, but he can't do that until Zero and his boon are ready so in the meantime he's just...spinning his wheels. As far as he can tell, there's just not a whole lot for him to do other than worry about Zero, wander around, presumably work with Beauty on his boon behind the scenes, and now jump on and off of high places. He feels bored and confined and he misses Neji in part because now he doesn't even have shooting the breeze with Neji to occupy himself with now. He is definitely signing up for every darkness raid he can and itching for the day he can leave even more. He is so done with Aather, has been for some time, so having to stay even longer is a drag, even though he chose it willingly because he won't leave Zero alone.

What do you imagine Neji to be doing out in the wilds of Aather?

Easy mode first. Natasha on Ahad?

Being an adult is one point in his favor to start with, and he's not bad most of the time. When he gets moody, Nat feels a bit like, "Look, I don't like you enough to put up with this." So there's some distance there—but it's not really a bad thing so much as Nat being an adult lady with boundaries, and priorities outside of dealing with someone else's damage. If that makes sense?

But he's also capable of being a good conversationalist, and being helpful, and he's objectively pretty attractive, so there's that going for him. And she can work up some concern over his past suicidal feelings. Particularly when she's drunk.

Reverse?

Mostly that she seems like a very competent kind of person. Unfortunately, they always seem to interact when Ahad's either in a terrible mood or drunk, but . . . yes. He kind of assumes Natasha has a low opinion of him and doesn't really care enough to actually be bothered by that. Not that Ahad minds interacting with her, because competence is pretty hot.

Naha feels guilty about sleeping with Ahad. And hates feeling guilty. Because she doesn't feel like she should. She's chaos, she does things! Whatever! But he deserves better.

It's continuing the trend of her feeling like Ahad deserves someone who can actually take care of him and help him grow, and then being repulsed by the idea that its her obligation, because 1) she doesn't like obligations, that's not her thing, and 2) she's in no state to do that for him.

Worst Mom Ever.

Ahad's feelings on Naha?

KIND OF MIXED (and also the worst understatement ever). It's pretty much a constant state of not actually blaming her for anything or holding her responsible for him, while also deeply resenting everything. Ahad really does not know what to do here and has no point of reference for even dealing with Naha at all.

Even after the whole sex thing happened, Ahad doesn't hold her at all at fault or responsible . . . while at the same time resenting what happened and that she allowed it to continue. But the thing about Ahad is that he's very much someone who turns inward instead of outward. He does acknowledge that he's the one who was better placed to end that encounter, because Naha is limited in a lot of ways. But he also dislikes himself and is still continuing the cycle of harming himself with apathy, so. He's pretty much a disaster right now and his feelings about Naha are kind of tied up in that.

Has Naha called Sieh since the last time we did that?
