Not today. I was just about to message him to see why he didn't come in.

i mean if he just needs space i should give it to him but

I'd expect him to let me know if he wasn't coming in. Last I knew, he was talking to a client in Vandare.

As luck would have it, I did end up with a truck. It's a rusted out piece of shit, but it hasn't died yet. You drive and yeah, I'll ride in the bed.

[She has been thinking about this for a while now. The fact that she has the truck was just a lucky coincidence.]

It'll work better than trying to take a bus. Plus, we'll get there faster.

It'll still be awhile. You're going to be kind of uncomfortable.

[but he's still willing to drive it.]

If you have a better idea, I'm all ears. One way or the other I'm going to Vandare though.

[And she's had a lot less comfortable rides than the bed of a pick up.

She holds out the keys for him.]

Hopefully we won't hit a lot of traffic.
